Our kickoff event was a screening of The Smell of Money, an award-winning documentary featuring the world’s largest pork corporation and how it affects the community, animals, and the world. The event was held in Corvallis, Oregon in March, 2024. For more information about this important and eye-opening film, visit the official website.
The well-attended film was followed by an engaging discussion about the societal and environmental impacts of industrial farming, the harms perpetrated against animals, and the actions that individuals can take to effect change.
We offered popcorn, apple chips, Red Vines, and oat milk chocolate bars!
